Convergence and Stability Results for Some Iterative Schemes

چکیده

We obtain strong convergence results for quasi-contractive operators in arbitrary Banach space via some recently introduced iterative schemes and also establish stablity theorems for Kirk’s iterative process. Our results generalize and extend some well-known results in the literature. 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification: 47H06, 47H10.

In this paper we present new iterative algorithms in convex metric spaces. We show that these iterative schemes are convergent to the fixed point of a single-valued contraction operator. Then we make the comparison of their rate of convergence. Additionally, numerical examples for these iteration processes are given.
